Tax Notice
Legal Notice is hereby given to all persons liable for payment of property tax to the Town of Hampton on the Grand List of October 1, 2015. The first installment is due and payable July 1, 2016 and the last day to pay without penalty is August 1, 2016.
Interest will be charged 1.5 % per month, with a minimum interest charge of $2.00 on all delinquent payments postmarked after August 1st or later. If not paid by August 1st, interest will be charged for the month of July and August and every month thereafter until the bill is paid.
If you do not receive a bill please contact the Tax Office at 860-455-7624 ext3 or look up the bill online.
Taxes may be paid Tuesdays 9am-4pm and Thursdays 10am-7pm at the Tax Office, 164 Main St, Hampton. Payments by check can be mailed to PO Box 94, Hampton CT 06247. If a receipt is desired, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope with the entire tax bill and your payment. Credit and debit cards are also accepted for a fee, online through our website at www.hamptonct.org.
