Youth Sports Committee

The Hampton Youth Sports Committee was established to work together towards meeting the needs of youth and their families in our community through providing opportunities to participate in various sports, instructional and league play. The Committee has developed a survey to better assess the current needs of our residents, which you can access from this page. We look forward to expanding upon our current sports programs that are offered, and we encourage any suggestions and feedback you may have. All are welcome to attend our Committee meetings that are held the first Wednesday of every month, starting at 6:30pm at the Hampton Elementary School.

The Goal of The Hampton Youth Sports Committee

It is the goal of the Hampton Youth Sports Committee to provide a comprehensive sports program that offers opportunities for individuals, male and female, of various ages and abilities to participate in recreation and sports activities.

Looking for Assistance:

The Hampton Youth Sports committee is in need of volunteers from Hampton & Chaplin. We are seeking to find people who can share any of their time or skill with this committee to help keep our programs running. If you are able to take notes at a YSC meeting, seek team sponsors, assist with registration, coach/assistant coach, help to organize or implement any sports program or activity, help with fundraising, assist with concessions or contribute in any way that may be of assistance, we need your help.

Currently The Town’s of Hampton & Chaplin combine youth sports services in the areas of Instructional Soccer (pre-k through 2nd), League Play Basketball (grades 3rd – 8th), and Little League through the Hampton/Chaplin Little League Organization. These programs run solely on volunteers and without them we will be unable to continue to operate and run sports programs for our children within our two towns. We would greatly appreciate any support you can give to the Hampton Youth Sports Committee and/or the Hampton Chaplin Little League. There is an enormous need at this time for volunteers, please consider to help in any way you can.

Another way to support our youth sports programs is through Sponsorship of a team. It is a great way to receive advertising for your business while helping to support the youth sports programs in our community. Sponsors will receive their company name on their team uniform as well as, free advertising in the Hampton Youth Sports Newsletter.
